Well, greetings.
Not writing for long time makes me feel lack-of-mind. It is really great to share something right just on my mind. In this article, I'd like to share my great journey as Allah's embassy to the holy land.
It is such a very precious opportunity for me to join my parents to go to the holy land. Really, not everybody could go right there. Yeah, it really needs the calling right from your heart by Allah. Many people that has a lot of money couldn't just get theirself in the holy land. Yet, they haven't had their heart knocked by Allah. But the people with just barely enough and no more material spend their time to go to the holy land just in case to get Allah's ridho.
It was back in March 12th in the very early morning, i was woken up to get prepared for leaving. The very early morning here means a morning with still no sun risen up. 5 a.m I supposed. And that is not the right time to me for wakung up. As I struggled to get some consciousness, I went to the bathroom, took a shower, then i was well prepared.
Everything was prepared. It was 6 in the morning. We went to the airport, Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport. We departed to Jakarta at 9 am and arrived at 10 am. Actually, it takes 2 hours by plane to get to Jakarta, just only Jakarta is 1 hour behind Makassar.
At Jakarta, we had kinda like a briefing there. We gathered together with jama'ah from Maluku and Jakarta. We were having a briefing inside a hotel at the airport, having lunch, then wait for the next flight to Abu dhabi.
After waiting for several hours, we went to the waiting room, for another waiting. Just only, we waited not much long on the waiting room, compared with waiting on the transit hotel. Great! It was truly a waiting day for me, for the jama'ah umroh.
That was my longest trip using an aeroplane. I flied for 10 hours from Jakarta to Abu Dhabi. Fortunately, we flied with a very nice plane. We got great services, and the playlist, yeah, it is all my fave. Jamie cullum, kenny g, Jason Mraz, and many more.
Arrived at Abu Dhabi, I never considered it as a long long walking from the arrival spot to the waiting room for the next flight to Jeddah. It is a very big airport they had. Perhaps it is 10 times bigger than the Hasanuddin airport in Indonesia.
The airport has a good waiting room. We really were convenienced as the waiting room has its comfy chairs. The seats are really just like at the beach, so you could just lay yourself to have some rest there.
After waiting for not too long, we departed from Abu dhabi to Jeddah, King Abdul Aziz airport. It took two and a half hours flied on the middle-east sky straight to Jeddah. Still, with the same plane, it had great services right up there.
Jeddah. It was one of the biggest city that Saudi Arabia had. Walked out from the plane using stairs, I heard the I-don't-know-for-sure-what-it-is shouting at me. He is kinda bit like the airport officer, trying to inform me not taking too much time near the plane and get in the bus, since the bus will bring you right to the airport.
The act of the officer totally surprised me. I mean, come on, I am your guest here, came from far away, taking a plane for almost a day, than your first expression is shouting at me?! Great! Thank you!
